Badlands Guardian is located near Medicine Hat in Southeastern Alberta, Canada. This natural geological wonder can be seen only from the air.

Nonetheless, when viewed from above, its humanoid details stun the viewers especially when one realizes that no human hand ever took a part in the shaping of this profile. The feature bears a startling resemblance to a human head wearing the full aboriginal Canadian headdress. The head appears to be looking to the west.
The marked resemblance to a human face is further underscored by earphones trailing out of the ears of the head. This extra accessory is due to the man-made structures. The apparent headphones is a dirt road ending at an oil well.

The scale of the Badlands Guardian is much larger than the faces of the Rushmore mountain. The Time magazine listed the Badlands Guardian it seventh among the Top 10 Google Earth finds.
