The Mystery of Titanic - The Unsinkable Ship

Titanic is  the ship that never sinks or so went the advert about the ship but fate or nature the great leveler served a catastrophic lesson that history has not forgotten to this day.

There are many stories associated with Titanic, love, tragedy, heroism, cowardice there is another factor too - Bizarre and shocking premonitions.

On the night of 14th April 1912, Titanic hit an iceberg claiming the lives of more than 1250 people, This is fact and is known to almost everyone but what is not known to many is that  14 years before this horrifying catastrophe, Robertson Morgan a writer had written a book called 'Titan'. The book was about a ship that was unsinkable. In the book, the ship hits an iceberg on its maiden voyage off the coast of Southampton and sinks killing all the 2500 passengers on board.

In 1935, A seaman who was on the night vigil aboard his ship suddenly had vision of Titanic sinking. Alarmed, reacting instinctively to the sense of danger the seaman yelled for the ship to stop. His scream to stop came just in nick of time for a large and mysterious iceberg had just loomed directly in front of the ship. a few more paces  the  ship would have crashed on it.

The most curious of all was the case of the pastor who had a recurring dream about  storm and the sea accompanied by a hymn. The dream stayed with him even after awakening and made so strong an impact on him that he began his service with the hymn 'for those in peril on the sea'. The date  of the dream was 14th April, 1912, the day the Titanic sank.
