Baahubali Astounding Spectacle!
The Sheer opulence and the grandeur of the sets just takes your breath away! The trailer opens offering us a vista of stunning greenery thereupon taking us to the scene of action. The ancient kingdom of Baahubali and the palace.
Politics, intrigue hatch every second but away from this filth is our hero swinging from a cliff, leaping across a river to meet his dream girl.
Tamana plays Avanthika, the partner of Shivudu (Prabhas). She looks exquisitely beautiful and gives the aura of the ethereal Apsara. Lets hope she does not take Shivudu to doom.
Where there is a king and a kingdom, there will be war Baahubali is no exception. The war scenes are launched in tremendous scale. The fights and the way it has been shot is aesthetically appealing especially that of Prabhas crashing through the enemy barrier, just loved the aggression present in that scene.
The golden statue just makes you gasp for breath! But then it is Rajamouli who is directing and only the best nay not best only the excellent is expected from him. In this regard Baahubali matches, sometimes even surpasses our expectations.
The only minor cribbing I have is about the fights, some of the moves in the battle finale strongly reminded me of Magadheera.
Prabhas who was missed very badly is coming back , I am sure there are many people holding their breath to catch sight of him. It would not be wrong to say Prabhas does not disappoint (At least in the trailers). He looks hot and has his killer moves intact.
Rajamouli appears to be in a generous mood, He has given us not 1 but 2 hunks to drool over plus a absolutely ravishing Tamana who just turns up the heat with her looks.
Senthil deserves a huge applause for the breath taking photography. Peter Hein, the choreographer - I am going to reserve judgement because in a few scenes I was reminded of BenHur, Jodha Akbar, Krish and ofcourse Magadheera. I just hope he has brought in some innovative moves.
The trailer has lit the fires of imagination , the scale and the grandeur has risen our expectation .
This is one movie we will waiting for - with bated breath.
